The Government received on the 20th inst. threatening diplomatic notes from both the French and Russian Governments protesting against the Anglo-Turkish con-> vention regarding Egypt and hinting that there would be danger if the convention was ratified. Sir Drumraond Wolffe, the British Special Commissioner, has agreed to extend the time for the ratification of tho convention by the Porte.
