CHILDREN,
Wellington, to-day.
Some time back £51 was collected by Mr Lee, of the Otaki school, and Mr Wilson, the member for Foxton, for remitting Home to provide penny dinners for the poor children attending the schools in London. The Mayor reoeived by the last mail a letter from the Lord Mayor of London appreciating the kindly action of the school children in New Zealand.
