SHIPPING INTELLIGENCE.
The s.s. Wairarapa was to have left Auckland at noon to day, but up till 4.15 p.m. no advice has been received here of her departure. She will probably be here by noon tomorrow. The Wairarapa goes on South in the evening, the last launch leaving at 7 p.m. The s.B. Australia is expected from Auckland via the Coast this afternoon. She goes on South this evening, the last launch leaving at 7 o'clock. The s.s. Southern Cro33 arrives from the South early to-morrow morning. The s.s. Waitaki is also expected from Napier and Wellington. The Cross goes on Tologa Bay and Auckland at 7 a.m. and the Waitaki to Auckland at 8 a.m. The schoouer Giaborue (Capt. Skinner) on beiug towed out of tha river last night stuck on the bar and had to wait for this morning's tide to float her off, She sailed this afternoon for Auckland via the Mahia and Coast ports. The brigantine Borealis sailed yesterday afternoon for Oamaru in ballast. The cutter Spitfire (Capt. Sena) arrived yesterday afternoon from Mercury Bay with '26,800 ft. timber for Mr Barker. The schooner Mimiha arrived last night from Whangarei with coal for J. Kennedy. Sydney, to-day. The Union Co.'s s.s. Wakatipu arrived yesterday afternoon from Wellington. Melbourne, to-day. The Union Co. 'B s.s. Manapouri sailed last night for Bluff via Hobart. Albany, to-day The R.M.S. Paramatta, which arrived on Tuesday from Plymouth, brings the following New Zealand passengers :— Miss Gibson, and Messrs Orubb, Ellis, Heaps, Curling, Cohen, Deßether, and Mordan. Auckland, to-day. The barque Johanna JJrodntrson arrived at Kaipara yesterday from Natal, after a rough passage.
