CONDITIONS : No person allowed to enter a horse the property of another person, unless both be a subscriber of not less than £1 to the Race Fund — hacks excepted. * No entry will be received for any race except on the conditions that all claims, disputes, and objections arising shall be decided by the Stewards or whom they may appoint, and their decision shall be final. All protests to be accompanied with a deposit of £2. Protest to be given in writing within fifteen minutes after the race, to be forfeited if the protest is considered frivolous. Three horses to start for each race or only half the money given. •• Hack " shall mean a horse that has never started in a weight-for-age or handioap of the value of £5 gross. No entry will be received for any race except on the condition that all disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the Racing shall be decided by a majority of the Stewards present, or those whom they may appoint. Their decision upon all points connected with the carrying out of this programme shall be final. All protests must be entered within 15 minutes after the conclusion of the race, and i accompanied by a deposit of £3, which sum k shall be forfeited to the funds if the protest ' Is not sustained. All nominations, entries, &c, to be addressed to the Secretary Wairoa County Racing Club, Wairoa, entrance and qualification money enclosed, and left not later than 8 p.m. on the several specified dates. Nominations, &c, bearing postmarks of specified dates will be received, provided the telegraphic information be forwarded to the Secretary by time stated. Entries to include name, age, pedigree, and, in case of handicaps, performances of horse, and colors of the rider. Any jockey riding except in the colors entered will be fined £1. All races to be run under the Hawke's Bay Jockey Club rules and weights. Qualification fee, 2 soys. Horses walking over will receive 50 per cent, of the stakes. 5 per cent, will be deduoted from gross amount of all stakes.
