The Proprietor of the Mercantile and Bankruptcy Gazette of New Zealand has much pleasure in announcing to subscribers and the public generally, that the supscription to the Gazette will be reduced to Two Guineas per annum, as from Ist January, 1884. He is enabled to make this intimation in consequence of the highly encouraging increase of circulation which continues to attend each issue of what has proved to be a most valuable business publication, and because of the economic reforms introduced by the "Chattels Security Amendment Act, 1853." The Gazette has now entered its Ninth Year of existence ; and, encouraged by its past success, the Proprietor begs to assure his numerous subscribers throughout the Colony that neither labor nor expense will be spared in sustaining its present deserved reputation as the most reliable circular of its kind in New Zealand. The Half -yearly Index will, in future, be issued separately, at an extra charge of Five Shillings per annum.
