NEW PLYMOUTH.
Thin Day. Te Whiti, Tohii, and Himki, were brought up at fho RM, Court on Saturday morning. Messrs. Stan dish and Satnmels appeared for the Crown. Hiroki was charged with murder, and on the application of Mr. Sttndish w»i remanded, and the Court adjourned till 2 o'clock, and on resuming To Whiti and Tohu wore brought into Court. Mr. Htirdthoune interpreted, and gave evidence, repeating nonve of Te Whiti's sayings at the monthly meetings, particularly one in September last, when he advised resistance, notes of which Mr. Hursthouflo had taken nt the time. Te Whiti being asked whether ho had any questions to put to witness, replied in the negative, but desired to inako a statement. The Court intimated that he would have an opportunity of doing so subsequently. The Court then ndjourned till to-day.
