PETROLEUM OIL AT THE SYDNEY EXHIBITION.
[To the, Editor of tfie Herald.] Sib, — Can you inform me if anything has been done as regards sending some one to tiie Sydney Exhibition, with the Petroleum oil ? All must agree that vast wealth lays undeveloped at our doors, and it becomes a duty we owe to ourselves to make this known to capitalists and speculators who might be induced to come here to open out our oil fields, I think there would be no difficulty in subscribing the funds necessary to send a trustworthy person to Sydney fur this purpose. Three or four gentlemen with subscription lists would, Boon collect/the amount necessary ; or lists might be left at the various hotels where all could, subscribe. —1 am, &0. , , ; A SUBSOBIBEB.
