Mr. Binney quotes flour at £11 ; oatmeal, £7; oats, 3a to 3a 3d; malt, 39 3d j potatoes, £5 10a to £6 ; cheese, 7Ad to 7fd ; maize, 4s ; Melton sauce, 14s 6d Sints, half pints 7s 6d ; jama, 9s per ozen. Mr. Buckland reports oats at 3s to 3s 9d ; maize 4s 3d. The horse market is unusually animated, a large number of good young horses being sold unreservedly, and satisfactory prices realised. Sheepskins and wool have risen slightly, owing to the improved tone of ,the English market. Wejxikgton, June 6. Mr. Thomas reports Adelaide flour at £14 to £14 10s ; colonial, £9 10s to £10 ; oats, 3s, ready sale ; bran, 9d, market over ; wheat, 4s ; hams, 9£d ; none in market much wanted ; cheese, 9d, also wanted j maize, 4s 6d, no inquiry ; pollard, £6 10s ; butter, lid ; potatoes, £4 15a, no sale j oatmeal, £19. Christchurch, June 6. Wheat, milling and seed, finds ready sale at 3s 5d to 3a 7d respectively, ordinary to fair 3s 2d to 3s 4d. Flour is in limited: demand at £8 ss. There_is no change in oats, and barley is nominal; the f ew'holdeifs >v'ill not accept the present prices. Potatoes are .in good demaud at £3 5s to £3 10s. There is a fair demand for hams ; new cured, bacon and ham is quoted at 8d to B£d in cloth.
