Sydney, May 16. Hennessy's brandy, case, 32s 6d to 335 ; quarters, 9s to 9s 3d. kerosene, Is 7sd to Is 8d ; Patna rice, £21 ; New Zealand wheat, 4s 6d ; New Zealand oats, 3s ; Raven's twist tobacco, Is 6d ; candles, 7|d to BJd ; sugar unchanged.
O amaru, this day. The grain and breadatuft market is quiet. Quotations : Wheat, 3s 4d to 3s 5d ; oats, Is lOd to 2s ; barley, 5s ; flour, £8 15s to £9 ; bran, £4 ; pollard, £5 ; oatmeal, £16 ; pearl barley, £26.
' Christchurch, May 15 Wheat : There is no great enquiry at 3s 3d to 3s 4d ; oats, 2s 6d to 2s 7d for feed, 2s 8d to 2s 9d for milling. Barley : Firstclass, 5a 6d to 5s 9d ; potatoes, 60s to 67s 6d. Flour is m moderate request at £8 to £9 ; grass seed, dull at sale ; butter lOd to lid ; cheese, 6d to 6£d ; hams and bacon are unaltered. Fat cattle are m fair supply at 22s to 25s for best quality. Fat sheep shew no imprisonment. Store stock are m little demand.
