HALL'S SHEEP DIP.

We beg to to draw the attention of sheep farmers to an advertisement which appears m our columns headed "Hall's Sheep Dip," of which Messrs Graham & Co., are the agents for -Poverty Bay. The Hawke's Bay Herald speaking of Mr. Hall's invention, says : — " Our remarks on the exhibits at the late Cattle Show, we omitted to mention that we were shewn a sample of " Hall's Sheep Dip" sent by Messrs Kinross and Co., and entered amongst the extra exhibits. It is a recent importation, and from the remarks and opinions we heard expressed, it bids fair to eclipse all other dips m effectually destroying scab, red lice, and ticks, and m improving the quality and increasing the quantity of wool. It had already been tried m this district, and with the most beneficial results. In fact those who have tried it state that it fully bears out all the advantages that the inventor claims for it. amongst which we may mention that it dissolves readily m cold, water, costing about one penny per sheep. We were shown some sheep that had been dipped m it about two months previously, and the wool appeared soft, lustrous, and silky, and we were informed that it also preserved the wool from the injurious effects of wet. We hail its introduction as a great boon to flock omiersaand we have no doubt that it will havcrihe effect of improving and increasing our largest and most important export. We would draw the attention to those interested to Messrs Kinross and Co's advertisement m another column, m which some further particulars are given respecting the advantages accruing from the use of this valuable sheep dip."
