A FOOLISH WOMAN

• ADMIRED BY HITLER There is still no generally, accepted ■ account of the whereabouts of the Hon. Unity Freeman—Mitford, fourth daughter of Lord Redesdale. According to the Paris correspondent of the -Daily Mail, she is at present in Munich in a clinic suffering from an overdose of veronal. The correspondent quotes a Paris newspaper, which is dated ‘ 1 From the German Frontier.” It says that she had a quarrel with Herr Hitler. She is alleged to have said that when he received her he abused England and the English in savage terms, and she is reported to have resented the insults. * The quarrel followed. : The report adds: “She returned to her hotel in a state of deep depression, - and next day was found unconscious by a member of the hotel staff.” ,When in England she never attempted to hide her admiration for the Hitler regime. Mrs. Peter ißodd, her sister, told the Daily Mail that the family had had no news of her since three weeks ago, when they heard that she was in hospital in Munich, and that she was making good progress, and that an operation might be avoided.
