LIVE WIRE TOUCHED
FATALITY AT KOPUARAHI. SEEKING REFUGE DURING STORM A Dalmatian named Andrija Borich, a single man, aged 2(5 years, employed at the lime works at Kopuarahi, Hauraki Plains, was electrocuted at 5.30 a.m. on, Tuesday through coming into contact with a live wire. Death was instantaneous. Mr. Borich and his mate were working in a pit when a fierce north-east gale blew a section of iron roofing off the building and carried it about 20 chains away. Becoming alarmed, Mr. Borich made for his whare, but in the darkness he encountered a wire, which was brought down by the gale.
