ESSAY COMPETITION.
“A DAY IN PATEA.” FIRST PRIZE ONE GUINEA. A prize of one guinea is offered for the best essay on ‘‘ A Day in Patoa' ' The competition is open to any child attending a primary school in the Patca and District Public Schools' A.A. A. district. Ago of pupil will be taken into consideration when judging. The essays will be judged by Mr. E. F. Hemingway, chairman of the Wanganui Education Board. Essays to be written on one side of the paper, and to be addressed to the “Patca Press,” Box 48, Patca, and posted to reach the judge not later than 5 pan. on Monday, March 9. The best essays will be published in the “Patca Press.” Entry Free.
