ALTON
W.D.F.XJ. ALTON BRANCH. A meeting of the Alton branch of the W.D.F.U. was held on Tuesday, Mrs. W. E. Tayler presiding over an attendance of 20 members. Thanks were extended to all those who had helped to make the show such a success. L\! demonstration by Mesdames Forbes and Taylor on loom reed basketry was much enjoyed and they were heartily thanked. A vote of thanks was extended to the hostesses, Mesdames Schwass and Goile. Arrangements wore made for a social afternoon to be held on March 28 in the Alton Hall. The meeting then rose.
