MOTOR CYCLE ACCIDENT
YOUNG- PATEA MAN KILLED. IX CUBA. -STREET, 'WELLINGTON. Word was received in Patea yesterday of the death in Wellington of a young man named Charles Bradshaw, a member of the staff of Mr. E. O’lloillySi branch of the Taranaki Chain Stores, The deceased, 'who was on holiday at the time, had recently returned from Auckland, and had proceeded to Wellington, intending to return to Patea on Saturday. At the time of his death he was proceeding along Culm Street, Wellington, on a motor cycle with another young man as pillion rider, when suddenly a motor ear pulled out from a string of cars and crashed into the motor •cycle, knocking the deceased off Ihe machine and drugging him some distance and killing him almost instantly. Ills companion was also badly injured and was removed to the hospital, 'flic deceased, who was of a quiet and unassuming nature, had made many friends in Pntea, who will deeply regret his -untimely death. The funeral will take place to-morrow afternoon at the Kopuatarna Cemetery, Stratford.
