lIHE FOURTH TEST. The fourth test match was opened at Leeds on Friday, England winning the toss and batting fust. The weather was fine and the wicket good, but England could only compile 200, Oldfield, who kept wicket magnificently, accounting for no loss than four wickets. -Sutcliffe did not play owing to an injured leg. Bonsford was out by treading on his wicket when making a magnificent drive. His score of 181 was the highest ho has made in tost cricket. Bradman has made 281 not out, McCabe 18 net out, extras 9; total 494 runs for 4 wickets. ENGLISH COACH FOR AUCKLAND. Leslie F. Townsend, professional cricketer, of Derbyshire, has accepted an engagement with the Auckland Cricket Association as 6oach and will arrive in October.
