REMUERA CUP . FINAL. The final for the Romucra Cup was played, yesterday between G. Fraser' and C. Young, and a very interesting and closely contested' match resulted in' a' win for Fraser on the 19th green. Botli players played well up to form Young giving a very good exhibition for a second-year ,player. The links wore in good; order and the greens faster than they have been for some time lately. ■' PATEA LADIES’ CLUB. . , The L.G.U. .Modal round has been postponed from Wednesday next to the following Wednesday on account of the unveiling of the Turi Memorial. ’ NOTES. • A itiatch between Patca ■ and Eltham men’s clubs is to be played on the local links on the Cth inst. The lambs arc making their appearance on the links, and it will not bo long now before 1 the'links will be closed for th,c ■ lambing season.
