MAORI PAGEANT.

PATEA DOMAIN TO-MORROW.

An old-time Maori pageant will be held in the Patea Domain to-morrow (Saturday) at 2 p.m., when 191 warriors and wahincs will take part in hakas, pois, Maori chants and songs, and the almost forgotten games of Ti-ti-torea and Mate Mate. The pageant is being held in order to raise funds for the erection of a monument to Turi, the old-time Maori explorer, and it should be an education to one and all.
