NEW YORK BRIDES UNDAUNTED BY MOTOR SMASH.
How a motor c.ar smashed changed the scene of a double wedding from a church to a hospital operating room is related by Reuter's New York correspondent.
Lying on operating tables, Miss Leonora Lcecli and Miss Thelma Mashburn, who were injured in a collision on the way to the church, were married to the men of their choice.
When the young men arrived at the
/hospital, both couples insisted on immediate performance of the weddings. Both brides arc expected to recover.
