HORSE KICKS STABLE BOY

NOSE BROKEN AND UPS CUT. Kicked in the face whoa he was attending to Gibraltar, a bay gelding owned by Mrs. W. D. Graham, Harold Buchanan, a stable boy, had his nose broken and slightly torn from the face and both lips lacerated on Sunday afternoon. Fortunately the blow was glancing; if it had been direct the bov would probably have been killed. Buchanan was taken to the New Plymouth Hospital, where it was reported that his condition was not serious. He is IS years of age and is employed by Mr. E. George, trainer, Avenue Ed., New Plymouth. His parents live at Westport.
