QUINNAT SALMON CAUGHT
FIRST IN '.WANGANUI RIVER
A qninnat salmon about five inches long was caught in the Wanganui River near ‘Taumaninui by Mr. A, Saddler, a local fisherman.
The fish was forwarded to the Marine Department, which certified that it was a two-year-old qninnat. This is the first time that a qninnat has been caught in the Wanganui River.
