7 MOA SKELETONS FOUND
CAVE 20 MILES FROM WAITOMO,
While exploring a cave at the back of his station in the Marakopa Valley, near Tc Ivuiti, Mr. E. Phillips found seven moa skeletons almost intact in sandy limestone. The bones are brittle owing to the action of limestone and care is being taken to handle them by experts. The bones wore found 20 miles oast of Waitomo.
