ABSCONDING SOLICITOR
SURRENDERS TO POLICE. HELD ON REMAND. Wilfred We I son Eegge, aged 2ii, who gave himself up to the Auckland police on February 20, saying that, he hud committed an offence in another country, appeared at Auckland on remand on Moudav.
The detective sergeant said that the Commissioner of Police had cabled to England and had received a reply from the Chief'Constable of Mold, Flintshire, stating that Eegge was an absconding solicitor wanted for alleged forgery. I’he Home Otlice was being consulted and the Chief Constable asked that accused be held on remand accordingly.
