OBITUARY. ' MRS. JAMES. The many friends of Mrs. James (nee Metcalfe) will learn with regret of her death, which took place yesterday, after a somewhat lengthy illness. -The deceased, who was at one time on the nursing staff of the Hawera Hospital, was deservedly popular, and until illness overtook her, was one of the lending lady tennis players of the Waver ley Club. Her early death will be greatly deplored. Her husband predeceased her some years ago, and she is survived by a little son, with whom the greatest sympathy will be felt.
