Commander Richard Byrd. who is in Xew Zealand with the Antarctic Expedition, lias a wife ami tour children, whose home is in Boston, United States. On his last day at home hundreds of‘ .friends dropped in jit the Byrd home to wish the adventurer good luck and safe return.
