MEETING OF COMMITTEE. ■The usual monthly committee meeting of the Bowling Club was held on Thursday UV'eniug. Present: —Messrs. E. C. Dallison (chair), W. Wicks, S. Aiken, G. Spratt, R. P. Palmer, H. W. James, A. J. Ad lam, J. Currie, and S. J, Taylor (hou. see). Messrs. W. A. Dalrymple and L R .Wilson were elected new members of the club. The secretary was instructed to arrange games with the following clubs: —Pa tea December 8; Ha worn-, December 2(i; Wanganui, January J; Hawera Park, January 2. It wtts decided to enter one rink for the Kecsing Cup competition. It was also decided to call for names for a champion singles competition to be played during the season under it scaled handicap. Entries close on Saturday, December J.
