BUSINESS FAILURES
FIGURES FOE II MONTHS. There were 5S bankruptcies registered in Now Zealand in November, 1926, as compared with 40 in November of the previous year, an increase of nearly 50 per cent. Of the 58 insolvencies recorded in November last, 25 wore registered in the Auckland district, 20 in the Wellington district, while in the South Island there were only 13 bankruptcies of which nine were registered in the Christchurch district. The figures for each for the 11 months, together with those for the corresponding months of the previous year,.arc appended:—
