AMERICAN MEAT EATERS
BEEP LOSING POPULARITY. Beef eating is losing some of its popularity in United States. Whereas in 1907 the average annual beef consumption per head was 77.51 b, United Slates Department of Agriculture figures show that it fell in 1925 to 62.11 b. The consumption oL pork per head remained .the same, while the figures for veal rose from 7.41 b IS years ago to 8.71 bin 1925. Per head consumption of all meat was 159.11 b in 1907 and 143.61 b last year.
