WEDDING BELLS
CARTER—JACOMB. The wedding recently took place at rit. Mark's Church, Wellington, of Miss Mavis Jacomb, second daughter of Mr. R. Jacomb, of Wellington, to Mr. Ronald Carter, second son of Mrs. J. Carter, of Remucra, Auckland. The ibride's simple but charming frock was of white silk corded romainc, and a beautifully embroidered veil, held in place by a double row of orange blossoms. A bouquet of pale pink roses, white carnations, and maiden-hair fern, was carried. The bridesmaids were Misses Vera Jacomb, who wore a dainty frock of shell pink georgette, trimmed with cream silk lace, and carried a bouquet of pink roses and .blue delphiniums, and Miss Mavis Bain, who wore a heliotrope crepe do chine frock, with cream lace go dots, and carried a posy of pink and heliotrope sweet peas. Mr. Erie Nansett, of Wellington, was best man. After the ceremony, a reception was held at the residence of the bride's aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. F. Wolfgang. Mr, and Mrs. R. Carter left for Auckland, their future home.
