Mr C. F. Goodrcds, who for the past few weeks, has been relieving on the office staff of the Pukcora Sanatorium, Waipukurau, returned to Patea by the mail train on Friday.
Field Marshal the Earl of Ypres, better known to New Zealanders as Sir John French, died on Friday. He was 73 years of age.
