ST. GEORGE’S CHURCH BULB SHOW

A BRILLIANT SUQOESS Glorious weather attended the opcuing of the Annual Bulb Ghow and .bazaar, held in connection with St. George’s Church yesterday, the show proving a brilliant success. The Town Hall was a riot of colour of beautiful blooms from far and near, the display, in the opinion of many, being the best seen in Patca for many years. The stallholders were kept busy throughout the day attending to the ' requirements of the large throng of purchasers who -filled the hail . The stalls, which were prettily decorated) were loaded with an abundance of gifts, aud not only showed the liberality of friends, but also boro testimony to the wonderful climate and ' fertile soil of the district. The exhibits, though not as numerous as those of last year, were of a very high order, particularly the. narcissi. The children’s exhibits were good, particularly those in the cooking classes, showing that the children had received excellent training, cither at home or at the Technical School.
