BUTTER AND CHEESE
GOOD PRICES IN LONDON SIBERIAN BUTTER ARRIVES The butter market is firm and fairly active, but business is chiefly speculative. New Zealand choicest is quoted at 180/-. Australian is worth 172/- to 174/:) for the little choicest quality available, and secondary quality is about 160/-. Danish is bringing 180/to 182/-. Siberian butter is arriving. About 5000 casks weekly arc expected, 'and the total arrivals for the season are estimated at about 50,000 casks. New Zealand cheese shipments aie now landing from delayed vessels, and the excellent quality cheese is realising 108/- to 110/-, with a good demand. Canadian cheese, which was similarly delayed, has suffered from heat.
