PATEA S.M. COURT
(Before Air J. G. Hewitt, S.M.) The ordinary monthly bitting of the Btuoa HAL Court was held ou Wednesday, Air j. G. Hewitt, S.M., presiding. Hr Heberts, on behalf of the local Bar, tendered a very hearty welcome to his Worship to the district. His Worship thanked the Bar for their welcome, and stated that he had piesided at the (Jourt four years ago. Has stay then had been very brief, and he anticipated an equally brief stay th(s time. CIVIL CASES Judgment by default was given in the following cases:— W. Aitchisou, Ltd. v CL Greener, claim for £l7 7/-, costs £3 9/-. Mr itutherford (Hamel and Rutherford) for the plaintiff. Haworth and Keane v G. Greener, claim for £2S 18/9 and costs. Mr Fred McKenna for plaintiff. H. Hoagey v P. Travers, claim for £lO 5/0. Air Wily (Roberts and Kiugsford) for plaintiff. li. A. Adams v G. Perkinson, claim for £4. 12/8. Mr Wily for plaintiff. 'i’hos. J. Carter v E. W. Norris, claim for £2 5/4. Air McKenna for plaintiff.
