PERMANENTLY DISABLED SOLDIERS
MAXIMUM GRANT OF £250. At the meeting of the Taranaki War Belief Association held on Wednesday, it was decided to set apart a sum of £IO,OOO as a first allocation for permanently disabled men, the maximum grant to bo £250.
It was also decided that aU cases be dealt with on their merits, and that the bases be 100 to 40 per cent, as per schedule of the War Pensions' Act ; further, that the cases not provided for the schedule be considered after receiving medical advice.
