WAVERLEY BRASS BAND

On Monday evening the members of the Waverlcy Brass Band held a meeting in the Band-room. Mr. C. 11. Southcombc presided and pointed out that the Board had only temporarily resumed to assist in the Peace celebrations, and it was for the members to say if they would continue to go on or disband again. After discussion it was decided to carry on. 'The following officers were elected :

Bandmaster, Mr. J. H. Pepper ; Hon. Secretary, Mr. D. Nicholls ; Custodian, Mr. A. Manic ; Committee, Messrs, H. Miller, A. Manic, Bouinc, Wise, Southcombe, Hoffman.

It was decided to call ft public meeting and place various matters before the public regarding the Band proper-

ty. It was also decided that the Band meet for a practice every Tuesday and Thursday evening. This concluded the business and the Chairman declared the meeting closed.
