PATEA v. WAVERLEY A match with the Waverley club was played on the local links on Saturday afternoon, the weather conditions being ideal for golf. ' The Pa tea ladies won their match by one game, two of the games being halved. The Waverley men won their match by two games. The following shows the results of the various games Waverley players being mentioned first in every case : Ladies ' Match Mrs. Dickie lost to Miss T. Gibson, Mrs Muir halved with Mrs Thompson, Mrs Johnston halved with Mrs Booth, Miss Cleary lost to Mrs. Pulley, Miss Bourke won from Mrs. Dunn. Men's Match Muir won from Pulley, Bradmoro lost to Jones, Johnston lost to Thompson, Parsons won from Gilbert, Cavo won from Harrison, Dickie lost ■to Brewer, McKcrnan won from Strouts, Metcalfe won from Stephenson.
