MR. MASSEY'S HARROW ESCAPE
Official : Ottawa, July ri.— M'r. AY. F. .Uassey with lU'rs. and Miss Maiwy, and .Messrs Thomson ;iml Pi ley, had n miraculous escape- while t ravelling in an express from Halifax to Montreal. Four carriages wore derailed, including the .Ministerial, which was partially wrecked, and was dra.":>;ed <»>» yards minus the rear wheels. None of the party were injured. The ladies displayed admirable Fortitude throughout. fijr Joseph AVard, Lady Ward and Miss Saunders are in Xew York.
