A rink from the St. Johns Club arrived in Patea on Saturday afternoon and played a rink from the local olub: The green was in good order, notwithstanding the boisterous weather ex. perienced during the week. Two games were played and it is able whether two more -evenly non. tested games have ever been played on the local green, Patea was successful in both games by a very narrow margin, as the following results will show
In connection with the resolution passed by the Club recently “ that the Executive of the Dominion Bowling Association be asked to grant Fatea a transfer from Wanganui to the Taranaki Centre,” word has been received from the Secretary of the Dominion Association stating that the Executive will grant the transfer subject to the approval of the Wanganui Centre’s - Executive. A meeting of the Wanganui Executive is to be held immediately to consider the matter.
