A case presenting similar circumstances to the one reported at Dunedin last week, occurred here to a little boy named O’Meara, aged live years. lie wus taken suddenly ill eight days ago; abscesses formed all over his body, and despite all medical skill could do, four doctors being in attendance, he died to-day from acute blood poisoning which apparently arose through a blister on the foot. The doctors’ opinion is that there is danger in the practice of children running about with bare feet.
