FIRST-CLASS STOCK FOR N.Z.
Wellington, Oct. 19. By the Mataura a quantity of firstclass stock camo to hand, which were selected by Mr Stuckey, of Te Rangitumau, during his recent visit to England, from the two old and noted herds of Messrs Price and Turner. With the above are four Southdown ewes, bred by tho Prince of Wales, at Sandringham, and expected to be in lamb to bis ram, which has been the champion at the leading shows in England during the past season. The stock were Jlandcd in a splendidly healthy condition.
