At St. Hill Street yesterday prices wore on the whole _ good for sheep, and the competition keen, only a few cattle were entered ; they sold at current rates. Pigs seem in usual supply, prices on a par with those of last Side: - Oattle -At V/averloy—Steers,_ £2 1«s Gd ; yearlings £1 Gd At St Hid Street Breeding cows, £2 ss; young steers, £2 7s Gd ; calves, 15s Sheep—At Waverley—Small store wethers, 7s Id. At Wanganui—Fat owes, 8 7d to 8s lOd ; store wethers, 9s Gel to 9s 8d; lambs, -Is 2d to os 3d ; breeding owes, os 3d to 7s; old owes, 3s. Pigs—Baconers, 30s to 465; good pork, 17s to 255; porkers, 13s Gd to 15s; small pigs, 3s 3d to 5s Gd. Poultry—Fowls, 3s to 4s ; turkeys, Ss to 12s; ducks, 3s to 3s Gd the couple. .NOLAN TONICS AND CO.’S KAKAHAVEEA ■ ÜBrOL'T.
