EVISON’S CONFESSION,
eyison’s CONFESSION withdrawn. Auckland, August 5. Inspector Hickson received a letter from the Chief Constable at Nottingham, stating that he is making inquiries into Evison’s confession of alledged murder at Nottingham of a young women many years, ago. Evison has withdrawn his confession to tho Auckland police authorities, and says there was no truth in it.
