THE QUEENSLAND LOAN.
London, April 25. Tenders for the Queensland 3£per cent, loan of £1,250,000. for which the minimum was fixed at were opened tO'day. The amount tendered was £6,533,600 at an average of £lOl 12s 6d, and tenderers at that price will be allot ed 28 per centOnesyndicate offered nearly £1,000,000 at that price. The average price of the Queensland loan was 12s 6d above par. London, April 26. The Queensland loan is quoted at 4| premium. The Times remarks that the market is being prepared for further Australian issues. *
