MESSRS P, R. JACKSON AND Cu.’S WANGANUI STOCK REPORT. At Waverley and St. Hill street only a few cattle came forward. Bidding for them was dull and prices unchanged. We had a fair entry of sheep, with a better demand. Pigs were at lower value. Cattle —At Waverley—Steers, £2 14s 6d; heifers, £2 7s 6dJ; cows, £3 3s; weaners 295. At Wanganui—Fat cows., £4; milch cows, £4 10s to £5. Sheep.—At Waverley—2 tooth ewes, 6s to 7s ; fat ewes, os to 7s ; full mouth ewes, 3s 6d to 4 ; fat wethers, 9s 3d; 2 tooth wethers, 6s 3d to 6s 7d ; lambs, 2s 6d. At Wanganui—rFat ewes, 5s to 6s 6d; full mouth ewes, 3s to 4s; old ewes, 2s ; fat lambs, 6s 6dto 7s. Pigs.—Baconers, 33s to 395; porkers 15s to 20s; others, 9s to 13s 6d; small pigs, 2s 6d. Poultry—Fowls 2s to 3s; ducks, os to 5s 8d; turkeys, 6s to 11s the couple.
