Duxupix, May, 21, A. warrant has been issued for the arrest of a young’ man, who lias been for many years in tbe Savings Bunk Department, on a of embezzlement. The examination so far snows forgeries and embezzlement to the extent of £.300. A case "of an unusual character was heard at the Folicc Court to-day. Settlers residing near the city are continually subjected to annoyance, especially on Sundays and holidays, by young men in search of game wandering over their grounds with guns arid dogs. Two of these pothunting’ fraternity figured ia court to day, when they wore lined £1 and costs for trespass. The Act provides for a penalty not exceeding £2O.
