CRICKET.

The return match, Patea v. Wayerley, was played on the Domain on Saturday last, and resulted in a win for Patea on the first innings, time not permitting, the second innings to be played out, and therefore, in accordance with previous arrangements, the match was decided on the first. T e day was fine enough for cricket purposes, not being too hot or too cold. The onlookers were, however, not numerous or particularly appreciative. Below are the scores: —
