Handicap Hurdles of 50 soys; miles; over 8 flights of hurdles, 31L Gin in height; top weight not to exceed 12st; lowest not under 9st: nomination, 1 soy, acceptance 2 sovs. To start at 12 o’clock 2. Hack Hurdles of 10 sovs; once round and a distance; post entry; entrance 1 sov ; weight not to be under lOst; open to all horses that have never won public money, or been nominated for an advertised race six months previous to date of meeting (hack races excepted). To start at 12.80 o’clock. 3. Flying Handicap of 50 sovs ; | mile ; minimum weight 6st; nomination 1 sov : acceptance 2 sovs. To start at 1 o’clock. 4. District Handicap of 40 sovs ; distance and bred between Stoney River and Munnwatu River; the bona fide property of the nominator for three months piior to nomination; nomination 1 sov, acceptance I sov. To start at 1.30 o’clock. 5. Hack Race o 1 5 sovs ; -i- mile ; post entry ; entrance 1 sov ; half entrance added ; open to all horses that have never won public money, or nominated for an advertised race six months prior to dale of meeting (hack races excepted.) To start at 2 o’clock. 6. Waverley and Waitotara Handicap of 170 sovs; 1| miles ; second horse to receive 20 sovs out ot the stakes; winner of any race of the value of 100 sovs after declaration of weights to carry a penalty of 7lbs ; minimum weight 6sl. Nomination 2 sovs; acceptance 5 sovs. To start at 3 o’clock. 7. Hack Race of 5 sovs ; 1 mile ; conditions same as previous Hack Race. To start at 3.30 o’clock. 8. Forced Handicap of 20 sovs; once round the coarse; entrance, winning horses 1 sov; losing horses 10s. To start at 4 o’clock.

No entry shall be received for any race except on these conditions : “ That 3 all disputes, chums, and objections * arising out of the racing shall be decided by a majority of the Stewards present, r or those whom they may appoint.” i Their decision upon all points connected 1 with the carrying out of the programme shall be final. 2. Ail entries to be sealed and addressed to lire Hon. Sec., Waverley, * entrance money enclosed, with the name, 3 age at time of entry, pedigree, and, in case of Handicaps, the performances of | the horse, name of the owner .and j colours of the rider. 3. Any jockey riding except in the colours entered will be fined 2 soys. 4. When two or more horses start, the property of the same owner, a distinguishing colour must be worn, 5. Ail races to bo run under the W.J.C. Rules. 6. Horses walldng over will only receive half the stakes. 7. No Qualification fee, 8. In all races the second horse only saves his stakes where it is specially mentioned. NEW RULES. 9. All entries and nominations must be in the hands of the Secretary at the stated time and place as advertised, accompanied by the amount of nomination and entrance money. “ Postmarks will not bo received in iuture under any pretence whatever, and nominations unpaid at the time of the due date of weights will be struck off the list.” WALTER SYMES, Hon, Sec. and Trca.
