The writer’s name, as a guarantee of good faith, . ■ must be enclosed:in the letter’-, I TO THE EDITOR, - SiR,T-T-More than a month sincq one of the ‘unfortunate creditors in Mr Odge.rs,’ estate wrote to yon complaining of the manner in which the DeputyOfficial Assignee' was winding up (or, I. should rather , say, not winding up) the estate. Now, Mr Editor, lam one of the unfortunate creditors in this long-drawn-out estate, and I really think the time has arrived when the creditors ought, in justice to their fellow settlers, to represent the unpardonable delay - to the Minister of . Justice, with the yiew of getting the estate wound up by some more prompt and competent person. It is. evident to everyone in the place that the present officer is entirely a New Plymouth'man, J 'and. any business in Patea or its surroundings is consequently neglected. It is oyer thirteen months since the bankrupt .filed, and neither statement nor dividend is.yet forthcoming, and not the slightest probability thereof from external appearances. Another Creditor.
