American Summary. SAN FRANCISCO, March 17. A terrible explosion in a coal mine occurred at Pocahontas, Virginia, from fire-damp. The mine was completely wrecked, and 150 miners killed. Mrs Langtry has finally decided not to goto Australia this year, her health not being strong enough to stand the journey. Her San Francisco engagement begins on June 16, after which she returns to England. Solomon Morse, (lie putative author of the “ Passion Pla}',” has committed suicide by drowning.
