The firing for Captain Taplin’s Cup was continued yesterday and this morning, ' Both mornings the weather was exceedingly unfavourable 'for shooting, and, as a consequence, those who fired previously had much the best of it. Scores ; SECOND CLASS, 400 yds. 500 T1 Vol Hyams ... 19 26 45 „ Barraclough 4 - 11 15, FIRST CLASS. 500 yds 600 Lieut Hitching 17 83 40 Col-Sergt Kells... 25.- -2- 27 Seven shots were fired at each range.
